UK leader ‘regrets’ colonial anti-gay laws

British Prime Minister Theresa May has said that she “deeply regrets” the UK’s role in introducing anti-gay laws in its former colonies and the “legacy of discrimination, violence and even death that persists today”.

Reuters reports that colonial-era homophobic laws are still used in 37 of the Commonwealth’s 53 member nations.

Mrs May told the Commonwealth heads of government meeting (Chogm) in London to loud applause and cheers:

“I am all too aware that these laws were often put in place by my own country. They were wrong then and they are wrong now.”

She said the Commonwealth had agreed to accredit its first organisation for LGBT people since its last meeting and also praised member countries which had recently decriminalised homosexuality.

  1. It’s ironic (more like hypocritical) that the same left-wing Westerners that decry European colonialism see nothing wrong with promoting homosexuality in Africa, Latin America, etc.

In many ways, the liberal colonization is worse. Previous European empires came to Africa in search of material goods; but the liberal Westerner (i.e. the globalist Jew) wants to destroy the African family, along with his son’s genitalia.

          1. In most Africa they believe in there ancestor’s, most people in Africa will fear there shrine more than God, if someone might have stolen your property and you got the person red handed and you ask the person to swear with the bible, the person will swear because they’re not afraid of Bible, but if you take the person to shrine the person is going to confess, and the same shrine the white men came to Africa and take it away…

Very important (although enforcing it will be difficult).

The Muslims (although many are good people) adhere to genital mutilation for men and women. Thus, having a sizeable population in one’s country can only lead to sexual frustration and violence.
