Linda Ikeji opens up about her Man and why she loves him

Pregnant Blogger, Linda Ikeji has taken to Instagram to write a lengthy post to address all misconception surrounding her pregnancy announcement.
Linda clarified her stance on celibacy and she revealed she loves her man but won’t share him on the internet.

Read below;

So let’s address some issues… and the reason why I bother is for the young girls who look up to me. I owe you and will always speak to help you in anyway I can because I want you to shine and be the better version of yourself.
So number one, let’s talk about this celibacy issue. I preached it a lot of times but I have NEVER said do not have sex before marriage. Here’s what I have always said to young girls and I maintain it.
Never ever give your body to a man for money. You’re worth so much more than that.

You’re beautiful beyond measure and there’s absolutely nothing a man can give you that you can’t give yourself if you apply yourself, believe in yourself and work hard. Start now that you’re young, pursue your dreams, work hard till your hands are sore and ur mind is tired, never listen to anyone who tells you you’re not good enough or you’re wasting your time, and no matter how hard it gets, no matter how rough the road becomes, never give up on yourself or your dreams.

2. I’ve always also said & I maintain it; do not sleep around because your body is too precious & deserves respect. You deserve love & dignity. I’ve always said sex should only happen when you find yourself in a loving relationship, with someone you love & who loves you back.

What is Social Media Marketing? – Everything you need to know

The internet has changed the way we do things. This single entity has transformed how we consume data, replaced the way we obtain information and for businesses, given a new face to marketing. Word of mouth referrals have now been replaced by affiliate campaigns, and traditional marketing takes a second place to online marketing. Speaking of online marketing, of the many ways that can come in, social media marketing seems to be the new craze.

Like many others, I believe you must have heard about social media marketing at one time or the other. Like many people too, I know you have a lot of questions about it. How does social media drive sales and impact my business? How would purposing a sales campaign to go through social media help my business? In fact, what is social media marketing in the first place?

What is Social Media Marketing

You must have been looking for one Harvard-style definition, but you won’t get that here. Unless someone wants to intentionally make the whole concept difficult to grab for you, it is not something to fly out of your seat for.

In short, social media marketing can be defined to mean the process of marketing (either yourself, your product or your brand) through any of the popular social media outlets available. That includes all of Facebook, YouTube , Instagram, Twitter and so much more. https://jetpack.com/?aff=6647&cid=579302

Why do I Need Social Media Marketing?

You already have a good email campaign set up, you have some awesome affiliate campaigns in the bag and your advertisement game is top notch. Why would you add to that list by going the way of social media , right? Wrong!

Social media is the single largest community on the internet. Unlike websites and blogs, social media is like the ‘world’ of the internet, where there are actual people always interacting in the ‘community’.

That being said, consider the number of people that use social media. In Nigeria alone, NCC reports that about 91 million people use the internet. Compare those figures with the number of people your current marketing campaigns are reaching, and see if you would be asking the initial questions any longer.

How Social Media Marketing Can Help Your Business

Now that you have known what social media marketing is, and recognised that you need it, it’s time to see how it helps you. It’s all just talk and figures until we can figure out how this concept can work to your advantage. Some of those advantages you stand to enjoy are, but not limited to:

  • Increment in website traffic

  • Increment in the conversion rates of your website

  • Improvement of brand image and awareness

  • Enhanced communication with the target audience

  • Development of trust with the target audience who will see the human side of the brand

How to Get Started with Social Media Marketing

You have undoubtedly seen things from the point of view I’m trying to promote. Like a good businessman with an eye for progressive methods, I know you will be interested in starting out.

For now, though, this is where I will stop the narrative. Watch this space for exclusive tips on how to start a killer social marketing campaign to drive your brand to the next level. Till then, lets hear what you think, your opinions and ideas in the comments section.

LI gets 1 million followers on Twitter + These tweets aren’t from me

image

So a couple of days ago, I reached one million
followers on Twitter…you go, Linda! Lol. There
are like 2million Nigerians on Twitter (I stand to
be corrected) and half of them follow me…I’m
so honoured. Thanks Nigeria! 🙂
Meanwhile, there’s something else I want to
address because I saw a lot of folks abusing me
upandan on social media this week over tweets
they think I posted. Something about ‘I can buy
any man I want’. Yeah, right, that’s why I’ve
been single for years! #Rollseyes!
I may have made careless statements during
the Hermes bag saga that I definitely regret and
have apologized for (I was stark raving mad
when I was posting on IG…I was in another
world…lol) and my words were to the ‘haters’
but I forgot that there were young people who
look up to me who were also observing what
was going on and were disappointed by my
remarks. I regret my words. So, yeah, I may
have said those silly things but I would never
post those tweets from the fake account. It
was tweeted some days ago and I addressed it
on Twitter but I see some people/groups on
Facebook talking about it and many still believe
I tweeted it and are just abusing me
anyhow..lol. Thus, I decided to address it here!
No one can buy a man…or a woman for that
matter. You can only buy a Muppet or a gold
digger, not a real man. And a real man is what I
am looking for! *wink*. See the tweets after the
cut and please if anyone can help me shut down
the Twitter account, I would appreciate it before
they spoil my career..lol
The fake handle has 4k followers. It is
@lindaLkeji. So the L is a small letter, and
makes it look like lindalkeji. Mine is @lindaikeji
with an i. (There are several other fake Linda
Ikeji twitter/Facebook pages). Also, can anyone
help me get verified? Thanks in advance…

And the hopeless tweets from the handle

Faysal Arefin, the publisher of a slain online
critic of religious militancy, was hacked to death
on Saturday, October31, in the Bangladeshi
capital, Dhaka, police said. Hours after his killing,
similar attacks wounded two secular writers and
another publisher.
The 43-year-old chief of the Jagriti Prokashoni
publishing house published books by Avijit Roy, a
US citizen of Bangladeshi origin who was
murdered in the same way in February. The body
of Arefin was found inside his office. The
perpetrators, who pretended to be customers,
had locked the office before carrying out the
attack, police said.
Arefin’s father, Abul Kashem Fazlul Haq, a noted
intellectual and writer, said:
“I rushed to his office at Aziz Market and
broke the padlock, and I saw him lying upside
down in a massive pool of blood. They
slaughtered his neck.”
Jamaluddin Mir, a police officer, revealed that at
least seven other people were trapped inside the
office when the attack was carried out.
“The criminals introduced themselves as
customers who were buying books and entered
the publishing house,” he said, adding that an
investigation to identify the attackers was under
way.
The publisher had filed a complaint with police
after being threatened with death in a posting on
Facebook following the attack on Roy.
Abbas Faiz, Bangladesh Researcher at Amnesty
International, said:
“The situation is becoming increasingly
dangerous for those brave enough to speak their
own minds. The latest heinous criminal attacks
are a deliberate assault against freedom of
expression in the country. Given the horrific
pattern of violence, we have reason to believe
many other lives are now at risk.”
